The total remaining for Almond Community Grants Fund (CGF) in 2025/26 is £13,393.55. The fund will open again in mid-August and the deadline for the next funding round will be in late September 2025.

Awards made in 2025/26

  • LIFT@ Muirhouse Millennium Centre: Awarded £3,600 for 'Food for Thought’ (full bellies make for happy bairns through the provision of family meals at LIFT).
  • Cramond Heritage Trust (2017): Awarded £1,935 for refurbishment of The Maltings, raising awareness of the centre and ultimately lead to more visits from local people as well as visitors to the city.
  • Queensferry Community Association (SCIO): Awarded £2,803 towards outings and equipment for the summer programme at Rosebery Community Centre.
  • Muirhouse Youth Development Group: Awarded £1,134 for a Blair Drummond Safari Park summer trip for young people who attend MYDG.
  • Davidson’s Mains Parish Church: Awarded £2,000 for equipment to support outreach and encourage social engagement with young people through open drop-ins at Davidson's Mains Parish Church.
  • 1st Craigalmond (Kirkliston) Scout Group: Awarded £1,403 to purchase new camping equipment for the 1st Craigalmond (Kirkliston) Scout Group.
  • Barnton Park Lawn Tennis Club: Awarded £1,300 for the installation of a community access defibrillator at Barnton Park Tennis Club.
