Rolling programmes

There are a number of programmes taking forward small-scale individual projects, referred to as ‘rolling programmes’.

These programmes were not scored in the prioritisation process but sit alongside the larger capital projects. .

  • Minor improvements for active travel, including quick wins and improvements in the recreational network
  • Dropped kerbs programme (including junction tightening) - active travel*

  • Contributions to active travel elements of other projects
  • Travelling safely - upgrading to permanent materials

*There is also an annual allowance of £160,000 for dropping kerbs from the infrastructure renewals capital budget.
